Freshman wide receiver Chris Black is expected to be be sidelined until at least November.

Alabama wide receiver Chris Black will have shoulder surgery, Eddie Lacy may have to play through some more pain and players have been inspired by numerous guest speakers:

Can't help but think Black was 2nd behind Ch. Jones for the slot reciever. With Black out, who takes that spot behind CJ?

Thanks, Chris. Awesome work as always. I sure hope EL is able get and stay healthy this year. I know we have a great stable of backs, but I think a healthy EL will dominate this year with the great line and better passing threat this year.

We all wanna see EL play & take his turn as the man. But I'm not worried about any kind of drop off. If he can't get x amount of carries.
