He seemed very high on Alabama. A lot will depend on what happens on the football front. His first love was football, but I think he is far better suited for the hard wood. His offer list is far more impressive on the basketball side as well. If he does choose basketball then Alabama should be in good position to land him. Florida State and Miami could be two other to watch. He is not a fan of cold weather so he wants to stay in the south.

He describes himself as a guy who likes to run the court and finish at the rim. No pure shooters in this class yet as Jimmie Taylor and Shannon Hale are both big men.

6'6 in college is not atypical for a PF. What is Marshawn Powell? 6'6 or 6'7 and he plays the 4 at Arkansas. Mizzou probably has a 6'6 PF (though they have a HUGE center).

Chris Hines was 6'7" at best (and that may be generous), and he was a man underneath the basket from a rebounding and defensive standpoint. Hell, if he's aggressive and can play above the rim, I say bring him on.

It seems CAG & Staff really want Wenonah's Coleman to be our next PG., Gawga's Tadric Jackson to be a SG/combo G., Staley to be a SF., plus a PF, possibly in-state William Lee, in the class of '14. Imho, the class of '14 will determine much of CAG's tenure length at UA. If CAG comes up 2nd on most of his top recruits again in the '14 class, then the probable length of his tenure decreases, 6/7 years max. If he lands a highly rated class, then I think CAG will probably have a much longer tenure at UA, 12 plus years. RTR!!!
