You can twist it however you want, Shinn would have been a big part of the rotation next year. Played well for us towards the end of the year, and we had to have him due to injuries. When coming back from an ACL it's usually not until the 2nd year that your back to pre-injury form. Really hate to lose Shinn, somebody is getting a great WR. I don't think this was getting processed as usually, as there are other guys that have been in the program longer that haven't developed or produced at all.

Attrition is common and healthy for all programs. Alabama is recruiting at a high level. Some kids will come in and want to leave for more opportunity somewhere else. There's zero wrong with that happening. Remember, many of these kids are highly decorated players that want to leave for more reps.

The cream will rise to the top in a program like Alabama.

Well said and much better than most of us did. Guess there's a reason your in this business. I will never fault a kid for coming in and giving it his best, then believing whats truly best for him and his very few years left to play college football are elsewhere. Completely understand it, and expect it.
