He will be a very good addition to our team - no matter his future playing time. I would not be surprised in time if this kid sees the field. No matter, very nice addition to the overall aspects of the T E A M...
Success is obvious. Great players, ditto. What we don't see as clearly from the outside is how much of the Team aspect is being built everyday at Bama. Every kid, every decision has the process and the goal in mind. And as a super fan of The TIDE, this is sure fun to watch unfold before us.

"He has a Drew Brees feel to him in stature and method." This is direct quote from ESPN recruiting analysts on his profile page. I realize that's high praise, and he may not live up to those expectations. Still, if we're getting walk-ons who are being compared to Drew Brees...ROLL TIDE to that.

Maybe just me...but this makes me feel a TON better about our QB situation. I think Bateman is a solid player, who has a lot of potential, and I know McCloud performed well in camp(has struggled in season some). This just makes me feel much more at peace about our QB situation.

So we are getting a walk on qb that was ranked higher at the elite 11 than qb's committed to Cal , Notre Dame , Nebraska , and Miami. Sweeeet!!
