I REALLY hope that he is able to play. WE dont know the true details of the situation. From what we have heard, he could really help us the next us the next 2 years.

This was never the case. Not sure where they received this information. Most of you have this story twisted. Duron was a victim of the NCAA clearinghouse last fall. Nothing he could do about that. He did what he thought was necessary but in the end, it wasn't. He messed up LAST season and his team punishment carried over until the present time. He knew he wouldn't start spring practice last year. This wasn't new to him at the start of spring practice. A lot of assumptions were made that were simply not true. The punishment is now over and he will be back on the field soon. Probably this week. His dad coming to town has nothing to do with the situation. He was invited and is kind enough to come hang with the team. Great for Bama football. Hope that helps clear up some misconceptions created by over zealous fans.

I like this. To the point, and no vague, general statements like you so often read on the internet. For some reason, and idk why, but i believe you and think you are right. Something about how you worded it that is so much different than what you normally see. Thanks for posting and im looking forward to seeing Carter in uniform. Dont understand all the frustration by people on here about his situation. If it happens, it happens. Us worrying about it wont change a damn thing. I have always thought Carter would make it, but it would take much longer than most would like. We just won another NC, and I have always viewed Carter as nothing more than an added bonus when he makes it. I advise other people to adopt the same mindset, and this twisting road will seem a little straighter with Duron. Roll Tide!

I want to see DC on the field but why were there all of these reports that DC was suspended and why were there articles that DC would never see the field? Just wondering.
