I keep thinking about a potential Eddie Williams-Landon Collins safety combo in a couple of years. Yikes.

Take it with a.....seriously folks on the Williams thing, he might be back at receiver this afternoon, he might not. Julio went down there and got a look when depth sucked. We want him where he'll be most successful. A body type like that, you want him to be able to go up and get balls, be able to handle a lot of contact and make catches, use his body and create an advantage for himself. Any frosh thrust into this environment has the potential to drop some balls, I don't think this is why he's there, but it might have made the decision easier.
If it sticks, I think it has as much to do about how the staff feels about the WR as a whole and the job Cooper has done thus far and don't forget Shinn/Woodson who have largely been lost in the Black, EW, Cyrus, Cooper discussions.
Safety is far more complicated than WR to master and, again if it sticks, it would not be an issue to slide him back if a desperate need all of a sudden occurred.

HCD (5*), Eddie Williams (5*) and Landon Collins (5*) could all be on the field at the same time in our Nickel & Dime looks, think about that for a minute.
From a recruiting "star" perspective it might be the greatest collection of talent ever at the college level at Safety.
