Time to start eliminating teams. Half the field will be going home today:
LSU vs South Florida is scoreless in the fifth inning
1:30: Oregon vs. Tennessee
6 p.m.: Arizona State vs. LSU/South Florida winner
8:30 p.m.: Cal vs. Oregon/Tennessee winner
Oklahoma gets the winner of the Arizona State game, noon Sunday.
Alabama gets the winner of the Cal game, 2:30 Sunday.

LSU has the bases loaded in the sixth and one out - pop out to short and the speedy runner tags and beats the throw home. 1-0
You just don't see that in baseball.

I've never had anything against baseball and softball, but have never really been a fan that kept up on any level. But I have to admit, these girls have transformed me over the past few years. They truly play for the love of the game and they're soooo good. But really, being at the time of year when it truly matters and so much rides on every pitch, it's really hard not to watch. I was watching every single pitch with anxiety late last night.

Yeah...think we definitely would rather have LSU. LSU has their ace going tonight though...apparently has the lowest ERA in the nation.
Edit: I actually think we'll face the winner of Cal vs. Oregon/Tennessee. The bracket flip confuses me. Either way, I hope it's not Cal that we face.

This has really been a two-tier tournament - the top four and the bottom four. Really no surprises at all - the closest being that Oklahoma beat Cal.
