He's a tremendous athlete to have never had any nutritional routine. Sounds like it will be a good thing to get him on campus for some good solid protein-filled meals!

Stop and think/imagine for a moment a five or six back rotation...puts smiles on our faces and invokes dread on anyone who has to play us. Going to be very interesting to see how we use this group. No doubt we'll have a lot of two back sets with interchangeability with the H/FB role.

i like having a lot of quality backs, but i dont like to see them rotate more than 2, maybe 3. you need a guy to get 10 carries to really impact the game and get going
lsu has rotated 4 and 5 guys and none of them ever seem to do anything (until this year with jeremy hill, whom they started to roll with)

I never saw at any point where he wavered. Guy was as firm as anyone. But the instate pressure got to him at the end. Especially with his visit to Arkansas blown out of proportion. So he just went underground for a while. Understandably so.

I can't wait to see how all of these talented backs are used. One thing is for sure: we'll always have an elite/fresh back for all 4 quarters.

I have never agreed with the thought process that a back has to get in a flow and rhythm during a game...basketball, golf sure, but football not me...maybe a QB, but not a RB...just as with a WR the rest between series of reps is appreciated and befits the player throughout the game and ultimately the season.

yeah i dont like any more than 3 either. You never allow one back to get in the groove and really get a feel for the flow of the game.

I love all these backs we signed this year but I think Altee fits Alabama offense perfect. I think he will be a star in a couple of years. RTR
