Jay Williams not to return, play baseball
Love and Billingsley not to return for fifth year
Calloway to start spring at linebacker

seems like most of the cuts in the past have come in the form of injury or lack of playing time. its interesting now that billingsly and love will not return (i presume since they already have their degrees)
correct me if i am wrong but has that happened before?

I guess CNS hasn't convinced the kid yet that he means business; I'm now starting to think he never will, and that would be a shame. Short term and long term Carter has to understand that the rules have to be followed - it's a team sport, as is life in general.

After consulting with some of the worlds greatest mathematicians, I see we have 73 on scholarship at this moment.
This includes the early enrollees. Take out Williams, Love, and Billingsley and we are left with 70 scholarship football players. This means we have 15 available spots for 18 signees.
Let the processing of 3 more begin!

I think its possible that Billingsly made the decision himself. Had to have graduated, going through another fourth quarter program to be a third stringer might not have been his idea of summer vacation.
