FYI, Creighton pays in the Missouri Valley - finished second to Wichita State
Remember this name: Doug McDermott, 23.2 points, 8 rebounds per game
Creighton leads the nation in FG percentage, second in assists and is seventh in points
It's a classic offense vs. defense matchup.
SEC got four teams. Big East got nine.

Could have seen Ms State after their start..But they really died at the end..Cannot see why PAC-12 got 2 teams in..Politics maybe on the committee..

If Creighton has a big guy and they like to grind it out, I like our odds better than a team like Florida or Duke who's gonna shoot 25 or 30 three pointers. Seems to fit our style better, but I don't know how Creighton plays. Just "if"ing

Creighton strength of schedule is 102 and RPI is 23; Bama's SOS is 29 and RPI is 36 if I'm seeing it correctly.
Creighton on was 7 - 3 and Bama was 6 - 4 in their last 10 games.

Guys this is a tough matchup. The one type of team I hoped we would not face in the first round is a good offensive team with a inside out game. Well, they have it and their offense can be explosive. Now, this is relative to the teams they play but still.....check these offensive numbers out per game....
We will control those numbers some with our D, but guys....we better hit shots or we could be one and done.

As the CBS guys just said, Creightons D is not very stout....but lol their offense is. Just glancing, they scored over 100 at least twice, maybe three times and scored over 80 multiple times with some over 90 each game.

Creighton averages 80 points a game. They average shooting just over 19 threes per game and shoot a little over 42%

Well, when you go 21-11, 9-7 you're not supposed to have an easy road. I'll be happy with a win and a competitive showing, and hopefully next year we can put ourselves in a better seeding position.
