This team looks like they have gotten bored and aren't really into things right now. I hope they can refocus going into post-season. I like this team although I think we need our #2 pitcher to step up.

Mental Toughness. That's what this team lacks. They're world beaters when things are going good but show them adversity and they fall apart. Murphy needs to take a page from the book of Saban on how to mentally toughen up a team.

I don't think is necessarily true as a blanket statement. Things have gotten dicy a few times this year and the girls have managed to rally. Granted tonight has not been good for the team, but to make a blanket statement like that is just not accurate.

1-2-3 inning by Traina. She looks more like herself now. Hopefully the girls can rally some more this inning.They had much better swings on Arevalo last inning. Just keep trying for the base hits and not necessarily the big home run.

Ump behind the plate is going with where the UGA catcher frames it and not where the ball crossed the plate. Terrible.
We've had 2 runners taken off the bases due to the ump's strike zone.

I've noticed this with softball umps. If a pitch is within a foot of the plate and the catcher is set up there and frames it, they'll call it a strike 9 times out of 10, especially for the home team. It's not just against Bama either because we benefit from those calls a lot too at home.

Team looked really tight to start the game. Hopefully they will be much more relaxed tomorrow. I have total confidence in this team to win the next two games. In recent history Bama has owned Georgia.
