The double-elimination tournament begins today in Oklahoma City. Alabama obviously really needs to stay in the winner's bracket.

South Florida vs. 4 Oklahoma, noon
LSU vs. 1 Cal, 2:30 p.m.
7 Tennessee vs. 2 Alabama, 6 p.m.
11 Oregon vs. 3 Arizona State, 8:30 p.m.

Chris or anyone else, do they still flip the loser's bracket teams after the first two rounds? ... thinking Florida last year came into Alabama's bracket after Alabama had won the first two games ... I can't find that documented anywhere ... thanks

Oklahoma won the first game, 5-1.
LSU and Cal at 2-2 in the sixth inning.
Yes, the brackets do flip prior to the semifinals, and that's exactly how Alabama ended up playing Florida last year. If I remember right, the Tide beat Cal in the opener and then Baylor and Florida was on the other side of the bracket and came through the loser's bracket.
