103 degrees Saturday!

I just checked weather.com and the forecast high for Saturday is T-town is 103 degress! That's insanse! I can never remember it being that hot for a football game. The 11:20 kickoff won't make it any better. I'm not worried about it affecting the team. If anything, the heat will benefit Bama because of our superior depth. I worry about some of the fans though. If you're going to the game take it easy and drink plenty of liquids. As Saban would say, it takes mental toughness. Everybody stay cool.

Hottest games I can remember were the '83 Georgia Tech game and the '90 Florida game. Brutally hot.

FYI, AccuWeather.com and WVUA forecast around 92 for the game on Saturday. 35% chance of Thunderstorms. Very large difference in the temperature. For the sake of the players on both teams, I hope its cool as possible.

Yes, it's a big and significant difference from what weather.com was saying. FWIW, James Spann from B'ham said 92 degrees Saturday as well. Still hot but a long way from 103.

Local weather folks are changing their forecast. Channel 48 last night had it being cooler this weekend than previously thought. All the national weather websites/stations will fall in line with local stations the closer we get to this weekend. Just watch Spann and Brad Travis to get a pretty good picture.
Folks asking about pics so 1. Near Skagway AK 2. Ketchikan AK 3. Space Needle in Seattle. This summer was a great trip.

It could get up to 114 on the field. Always 10-15 degrees hotter there than anywhere else.

I cant remember the year but it was the first game of the year we played South Florida. I think it was the last game at Legion Field. They ran out of water at halftime. I will never forget how hot it was that day.
Folks asking about pics so 1. Near Skagway AK 2. Ketchikan AK 3. Space Needle in Seattle. This summer was a great trip.

Penn State last year was brutally hot as well. The rain a couple of hours before kickoff only made it more humid.

I wonder if all the FRAT boys will all be wearing a suit and tie.trying to impress everyone ? .. hehehehe ... I didn't do that when I was a Frat guy at Bama ...and I had a blast !

Only one site saying 103...all others appear to say 92...that sounds a little more resonable prediction.....which means it gets to 92 just about the end of the game...a lot more bearable...but still hot...as most first games are.
