I have 2 sons, 8 and 5, and both good little athletes. Unfortunately I don't use the term "little" because of their age, but because they're both small for their age. Anyway, since their future stardom in a Tide uniform (and more importantly, my happiness because of my vicarious living through them) is the single most important thing in my, I mean their, life, their "play time" is hanging upside down to stretch them out. That works, right?

Look to the left in my sig photo and that is the future, well was the future Bama QB until he broke my heart and has decided to give up football for now. Think I should just make him play? I mean he is just nine I can force him right? Look at the pocket presence. Geesh what is the kid thinking? Thats it I think he's got to play. Now what to do with Momma? She's not seeing the fututre like me. She says if he doesnt want to play he doesnt have to. Of course she doesnt have the eye to see his potential like I do. Should I just sign him up and go with the old better to ask for forgiveness than permission route? Divorce isnt that bad is it?

Chicago, I have heard the hanging upside down does work. For my boy I am thinking about the new surgery they are doing that can make you taller. I need to research it better though cause I am afraid it may hurt his speed and agility. Mine is on pace to be good size but not Peyton Manning tall. Proibably gonna need 2 or 3 inches to get there. Hope that helps ya. May wanna look at the surgery option.

I've looked into the spinal surgery, but it will only add a couple inches and it's more for vanity than for athletic purposes. It would most certainly affect their speed, and I don't want to do that. Instead I've started the blood spinning and plasma platelet treatments for them.

All I'm saying is that Marv Marinovich was a forward thinker, he just didn't have the technology that we do!

my some will be 1 on the 27th of this month.

right now, he's looking and acting more like a linebacker (destroying everything) and he's eating his way to a dt.

i don't care if he plays football or soccer or basketball or even sports, he could do band or be a car guy, just as long as he does something besides sit around (and obviously drugs, etc.) and is happy doing it.

Mine is 6' 4" and weighs 190, great arm & tough as nails also played LB & DE & graduates this year. Decided he loves wrestling more than football & is going to NAU on academics. I'm totaly devastated & since his sister is not very athletic, I told wife it was time to start over, & see if we can get it right this time. :-)
