2013 Prediction, IF!

  • If we can put together a decent offensive line,,, not one team will stay within 21! That is including LSU and A&M....

  • A&M is losing at least 10 starters. That includes an offensive tackle, center, and 3 wide receivers. 2 safties, 2 line backers and a defensive tackle. Those are the definite.. I know that we have players to replace also. But,, it will be only the 2nd game of the year and we should be healthy and fresh. We will be prepared! Game will be over midway through the 3rd. Johnny football is great,,, but he won't have the luxury of a trap game next year. Anyway,,, just a prediction..

    I agree it's a game we should win, but Bolden echoed my thoughts precisely. When you have a wild card like JM, the best thought out plans are subject to go awry.

    After watching JM for most of the year,,, I believe you have to force him to scramble... Most dual threat qb's, you want to keep them in the pocket. But,, Johnny football will set there until a receiver works open or until he see a good running lane. He is not dictated by a clock.

    Me likey your prediction. I hope it comes to fruition.

    From the day we beat Georgia in the SECCG I said the NCG would be a blowout in favor of the good guys. I ran into quite a bit of headwind on this board for that prediction, but I steadfastly held unto my belief that it would not be a competitive game. Thus I am not beyond predicting a blowout when I feel it's justified under the circumstances. In the case of next season's TAMU game however, I'd be mildly (and pleasantly) surprised if Alabama beats TAMU convincingly.

    I know what you are saying, but a lot of people could say the same about Bama

    2 DB's - Lester & Milliner
    1 LB - Nico
    3 DL - Square, Williams & Dial
    3 OL - Fluker, Warmack, & Jones
    2 TE - Williams & Kelly Johnson
    1 RB - Lacey

    Granted, we all expect the talent at Bama to continue without any dropoff and I dont think our loss of talent with the exception of Jessie Williams and Dee Milliner will be felt that much (concerned about TE a little).

  • Too me, it's all about the Mental/Emotional Parts of the Game. We're losing a lot from a Leadership Standpoint.

    I think guys like Barrett, Square, Fluker, Lester, etc. were great leaders.

    I think we need guys to step up in the Off-season- motivate everyone to work together, stay hungry, stay focused, and do all the things it takes to be a Champion.

    Talent-wise, I think we can go undefeated and win another title.

    But I think, On a given day, almost any team can beat any team. Gotta Stay focused and hungry.

  • aTm lost more than we did. I doubt they beat Saban two years in a row. The defense will be better and the front 7 more athletic.

  • A&M will be introduced to Pettway in September. I feel sorry for their new OTs.
