Here's the Tuscaloosa News link.
The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office booked four University of Alabama football players on felony charges ranging from fraudulent use of a credit card to second degree robbery early Tuesday morning.
If they admitted to beating someone unconscious....there's really no defense for keeping them in school, let alone on the football team. When you take someone else's property, that's bad enough. When you threaten someone else's safety or life, that has to be a zero tolerance offense.
Simply can't have that type of influence around this football team. This is about more than football, though.
And to think, it sounds like these guys did all of this for a few bucks, a laptop, and some snacks in a vending machine. Pathetic behavior.
