42.5% is pretty good, but it aint worth a damn if they don't drop gameday. Bama gotta play their ball and put pressure on the ball imo. If Bama stops stupid fouls, plays defense, and plays together on offense they can beat Creighton. Hey, we dancing.

They haven't played us yet.
I wanted a shooting team in round 1. Our defense will pose problems all day for them.

It will be tough. Our defense will have to be in their faces the whole game. It would be nice if Cooper, Lacey, etc have a good shooting night.

Creighton split with Wichita State, a team we beat with relative ease.
Creighton also hasn't played anyone with a pulse aside from them in months. Don't give me Indiana State and Missouri State. We played a much tougher schedule than they did and play in a power conference.
I'll take my chances with our guys.
North Carolina in Greensboro on the other hand...that could get ugly.

My understanding is they are horrble on defense..
We will control the pace and score at will on the inside..
We will play tight D and drop that 3 percentage and win by 5..

McDermott is one of the best big men in the nation, averaging over 23 and 8 per game. We will not score at will down low.

They will not shoot 40%+ against us. And we may not be a great offensive team, but when we've played crappy defensive teams, we've looked pretty good on the offensive end. I think the key will be to keep JaMychal out of foul trouble.

THIS!!! This is my problem with mid-majors making it in the first place. If you take a team like Miss St. or Ole Miss and put them in Creighton's League they are probably a tourney team, but because they play in the SEC and struggled they dont get in. Then if you took Creighton or Montana or some of these other mid-majors and put them in SEC, ACC, Big East or Big Ten they prob dont even get a sniff at the tourney.
