You are so right! Oliver just knows facts and stats and doesn't really have the mind to take those facts and make it a story. He is not a journalist, he is a former English teacher.

Chuck Oliver, who is very knowledgable about SEC and college football in general, discussed the soon to be released "boom" that Yahoo Sports will drop on a SEC West team. He was told that it will not be Ole Miss or Arkansas. He went on to discuss the timing of Yahoo Sports releasing of the article saying they are attempting to get the maximum exposure by waiting until late August. So he continues down this path with who will it be? He rationalizes that it will not be Miss St or Auburn because they are not expected to compete for a national title and since Alabama and LSU are in the mix that it is more likely to be one of them. First, you have to know that Chuck is an AUB! I love to listen to him because he is usually factual and direct, but this is a stretch to say Auburn is not a news worthy, big story because they are not expected to be good this year. They are the defending national champs! Good grief!
