7 Freshman

CNS said tonight 7 Freshman would play Saturday and maybe more later. Assuming he meant true Freshman. I am not sure on the last two. What are your guesses.
1.Cyrus
2.Pagan
3. DePriest
4. Sunseri
5. HaHa
6. Shinn
7. Xavier Dickson

I would switch out Shinn since he's working scout team right now.(maybe another Dlineman)

I think XD is in the middle group, he'll eventually play but not until he gets coached up some. I would also add Sylve to the middle group as well, although I got a strange feeling that he will be fielding some punts and kicks.

He was listed at 2nd team Jack on the depth chart, but we know how that goes. But i would have him in the 7 guys playing saturday. As for Pagan the news has been nothing but good and his knee is way ahead of schedule, dont be surprised if you see him in on passing situations early in the game.

Calloway will not play this year. Pagan is the Freshman DL that Saban said may play (not to say Fnning wont). Shinn wont play, either. Will be interesting to see what happens. I have a feeling Sylve may get a shot at some point.

Last year we played Ingram, Trent, Lacy, Goode, and Fowler. In 2009, we played Ingram, Upchurch, Trent, Goode, and Grant.
This year, we have Trent, Lacy, Fowley, and Blake Sims. All of which we don't need to have in the game in a blowout situation so Calloway plays by default.

Pagan and Dickson will both play. Niether will redshirt so why not play them against a team after we have the game in hand? Dickson is listed as an "or" with Hubbard at Jack and will likely have a situational role in more than just mop-up duty this year. Cyrus, Vinnie, Depriest, Pagan, Dickson, Haha, and Sylve are my picks.

More than likely Fowler will get the blowout carries. I think Sims will be the 3rd down/screen back

Can I point out that coaches that recruit with depth charts have been officially proven wrong as to the likelihood of a freshman playing at Bama.

Hunter Bush can come in and play during a blowout. I think Calloway Redshirts. He got in too late and will probably change positions in the future (barring a terrible rash of injuries).
