THANKS! GE...great story...
There is once again, NO WAY, no way to overestimate how important sending that pep band there was for the morale of this team. You could see in how they carried themselves. They KNEW they were ready for this---that this was THEIR prize. The band added that extra .005 per performance, or more, that definitely meant it all in the end.
Not to take anything away from the women---they EARNED this thing and did EVERYTHING---but you could tell that there was something special in the air Saturday---and it just happened to be Crimson in Color.

I will not underestimate how effective it was for CNS to come and inspire this gymnastics team. Maybe his speech is what turned the tide of victory in another very close competition. Happy for all of them. RTR

Will this put UA #1 over all in the rankings "they" are keeping up with? I believe I saw some ranking system during march madness and at the time we were tied for first with another school (can't remember who) ... I think the basketball team accounted for some points by just making the tourney...

that's special....and the band was there too, just goes to show the support and makes me go hmmm on the apparent lack of UM's band traveling to Dallas...it'll be sad if they don't find a way to get there, not reason for it really.

It shouldn't be overlooked that the money Saban has brought in with football contributed towards us being able to send the band out there. I bet that is a good reason Coach Patterson is so grateful for Saban.
