True, but you typically don't "attrition" you best player, regardless of how Barbie tries to spin it.
I also thought it lacked a little class on his part to make it sound like he wanted them gone and that their academics had something to do with it.

Last season, he was their best player, but we all know how terrible that team was and they were missing two players better than Ross to injury (Frankie Sullivan and Varez Ward) and are bringing in at least two better than him in the class (Cedrick McAfee and Willy Kousassi). Either way, its a huge loss just for depth reasons.
Auburn didn't have to make that many concessions, they only had to free up two spots to get their entire class in, and considering both of these players would have competed for a starting job this season, its a huge loss. At the same time, it gives Barbee another excuse to have a bad season as well as another reason to leave whenever he wants BECAUSE HE STILL HASN'T SIGNED HIS CONTRACT!!!
