AU worst team in SEC history? Yes!

I just read on Auburn site, that if UA beats auburn by at least 35 this year, that this 0-8 auburn team will go down as statistically the worst team in SEC history based on margin of loss.
Wrap your mind around that one...
There have been some BAD Kentucky and Vandy teams down through the years.

The great thing is, is that Jim might still be around next year. Here is hoping for 2 last place seasons out of them.

Last year they were the first defending national champion in approximately fifty years to be outscored by their opponents. That's a pretty impressive accomplishment also!

And they lost 12-10 to fcking LSU. Why can't we ever catch LSU when the decide to play like absolute crap?

Word is that they aren't receiving attention from their desired list of coaches so they're biting the 2.5 million dollar buyout bullet.
If I were them, I'd hire Willie Taggart. Guy is a motivator and has a chip on his shoulder. Perfect for AU. Maybe they're waiting this cycle out to get further proof on the guy. I just wouldn't wait long before he is gone. Big time head coaches don't go to AU, I'm just wondering when they'll get that.

Good point. You have to be very clear when starting a topic these days which sport at AU you are referring to relative to being crappy.

In SEC play they are averaging 11 points a game and giving up 31 points a game. Hard to convince me that they aren't worst team in their history. And they haven't even played the highest ranked SEC team in our house yet. For a moment, I will forget everything that happened last weekend if we put up a 45-0 on them. Then beat UGA, I just really wanna get an SEC ring this year.

Yes he does but it's basically Iron Bowl week at this point so now is the time for Auburn threads.
I want to see more stats such as this one. Really makes my heart glad. Here's one of my favorites:
Auburn has lost their last 9 regular season SEC games, spanning just over 1 season. Saban has lost 9 regular season SEC games in 6 seasons at Alabama.

statistically, that would affect their defense and scoring margin stats. and wins/losses. i wonder what specific stat(s) this guy is referring to that would make auburn the worst.
