That's my biggest problem with the play calling/scheme. I like running the ball, I think we should probably run it around 65% of the time. I DON'T like slow-developing, delayed, from the shotgun, running sideways hand offs. When Trent gets the ball, he isn't moving foward, sometimes he's just standing still but he's not able to get good momentum going by the time he gets the ball. He's not LaMichael James. He's an effin tank. Give him the ball going down hill and hitting the hole hard and fast.

LSU and Stanford have power running games and seem to do a much better job of getting their backs the ball with good momentum and much less delay. Maybe our scheme allows for more explosive plays, but I think our long runs are more attributed to the talent of Trent and Eddie because we sure get hit in the backfield a lot with those sloooow developing shotgun sweep plays. Very frustrating.
