After reading the delusional comments of the *U fans I have to

  • say I was a little surprised. I know, I know, I shouldn't be right? :-) It kind of reminds me of the things the left would say against President Bush. ( Please don't turn this into a political discussion, because that's not my intent) I'm just saying I would hear the craziest reasons the administration was going to war etc and know it was delusional but it didn't matter what anyone said, it's what they believed. ( just to be fair the right says the same stuff about Obama now and the left thinks they are delusion)
    My point is, how carzy has this thing gotten where every action is looked at as a slap to AU. No matter how innocent it is they think every thing is all planned out by the REC.

    Well, this got me to thinking about us. I have to be honest. I have told anyone who would listen over the past 7 months that TJ was going to AU because his Dad works for some big AU booster and is getting the Cam Newton treatment. I have read it here and on other boards and I really believed it because I couldn't understand why he would go to AU. Now we know this is obviuosly not true or he wouldn't be coming to Bama.

    Now we are reading that it's the opposite. We are paying his Dad and it needs to be stopped according to all the delusion Barner melt down threads. Well, we as Bama fans know we aren't paying anyone, but that's the only explantion they have because they don't want to accept the truth. That Bama is and will always be the Big Brother that gets what we want 80% of the time.

    So I don't know what my point is really. I guess we all need to step back and stop trying to come up with the worst case scenerio about the other school. And I don't need a list of all the crap AU has done. I know it...from Cam to La recruits to Troopers play house and all that. I'm just saying we don't need to go down the same road of AU or we may end up delusional too!!

    Not to be a stickler, but even the best case scenario for Cam Newton is dirty as Hell, which is why almost no one but auburn fans ever makes reference to the 2010 national champions.

  • Yeah, We're scum for recruiting Yeldon and Saban is a horrible person. Not to mention Yeldon isn't a "true awbarn man" becaue he flipped and lied but they just flipped a kid from Miss St and its perfectly fine, those same rules don't apply. Cheezdik flips the kid and he is a great recruiter but Saban does it and everyone is scum......barner logic at it's best
