Just goes to show how useless bench press numbers are for evaluating offensive linemen. All you have to do is turn on the film to see big Fluker was pushing around SEC defensive linemen all year long.

Does it now? TRich was around 2 inches shorter than Lacy, and around 6lbs lighter, he turned out to be decent. Like Richardson, Lacy has a lot of lean mass, so he going to be heavier, he may need to lose 4-5 lbs, but he not "a bit heavy for a RB", especially not a between the tackles NFL back...
The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.

Bucky Brooks of NFL.com said he was told by one evaluator that they consider Eddie Lacy a better prospect than Trent Richardson and Mark Ingram.
Everyone will probably be surprised by that except for those who closely watch Alabama recruiting. The coaches were just as thrilled to land Lacy as they were Richardson.

The main area I would give TR and MI over Lacy would be durability. Eddie is a little more fluid and elusive, but he also benefitted from a better passing game this year than either of the other two had.
