I have and I know you are an excellent poster. It's just that this has been totally blown out of proportion and is a non issue. And that comes directly from the team. Choose to believe your gut or whatever, but I'll choose to defer to those who are there. No hard feelings RTR

No man, absolutely zero hard feelings, you know that. I should have said this upfront, but I don't believe in my gut instincts on this deal 100%. Probably not even 75%, but was just thinking out loud, which is something I rarely do (on here). I know you don't dole out info much unless it's close to the situation, so that honestly makes me feel a whole lot better.

Here's the deal with my "gut": The first red flag came up when we found out where they were staying. Then when we heard about the team meeting, and then the guys sent home. I'm so used to the guys being robotic, and nothing hardly ever going wrong that it's concerned me some. But, I have total faith in Nick and what his process is about. If you look back at what Coach Bryant did, it's very similar.

The next concern is youth. We have a lot of players that are playing at a very young age on this team. In fact, a lot of our impact guys are young. I just hope they realize the opportunity that's in front of them. You know, when a kid comes to Bama now, especially with how many times we've been to the Natty, it would be easy for them to take it for granted, 2010 comes to mind. But how many of these kids have been to South Beach, with the night life? My only concern is the younger guys, because I've seen this at work before, in teams I've watched and played on. But, I know Coach knew this before he ever left the state, and I know he had a plan in place.

And I have a feeling that Lee and Anderson were made an example of, as they should be...Think about how many times Coach Bryant did the same thing and it worked to perfection-Namath, Stabler, Les Kelley, etc. And think about the only time he should've and didn't with Linnie Patrick.

As much as I feel these younger guys may be a little less focused right now, more of me believes Nick knew this (and had a plan), before it even started. His history has proven that.
