All-Saban Signee Team

This is an incredible list and it is so good we may have to create a all-development team. Meaning a player that may not have been recruited by Saban but was here or a walk-on to show the sheer value of developing a player. Johnson, Arenas, Kelly, Tinker.
Another interesting factor to look at is how good Saban is in evaluating talent. Imagine including the players he recruited at LSU to this list it would be tough choices. We all have to give a huge thanks to Wayne Huzienga (sp?) in Miami for taking Saban out... or what he is doing at Bama now, he would have had going at LSU. This guy is amazing and just glad to have him on our side. He can recruit and develop and win like no other...the full package

This would have been the most feared team ever. The defense would smother teams and the Offense would have put up huge numbers. And now we have so many players that can do the same thing as this guys now on campus I cant wait to see how they come together for another title.

Would like to see the DVD when these young men sit around the table and discuss the CNS years they spent at UA..........there has got to be some stories in this group.........enjoy this while we all can.........not many coaches like Saban...........thanks, Staff.........time well spent

Still no one willing to go out on a limb and pick between Ingram and Richardson? Come on, guys. It's the best signee at each position. Saban only uses one RB. It's like the all-time lists when you have to choose between Namath and Stabler. You have to pick one. Don't bail out just because it's difficult. Pick one. Anyone can pick the best OL signees...they're easy. What about the RB?

Just the opposite. CNS told WV he was too short to play center but he would honor the scholly offer, though he might have to grayshirt. WV found out just about reporting time that he was going to get to come in with his class. Was already a workout warrior when he got here and just kept getting stronger.

Tough choice for sure. I would like to mention that your point about Ingram's fumble in the Iron Bowl should also reference Trent's dropped pass at the goal line. The whole Bama team made enough mistakes to lose 2 games that day, so I won't hold that more so against Ingram.
But, if I were drafting for my NFL team, I take Trent first.

a few thoughts ...
- its going to be hard to beat the tandem of MI & Trent but ....
- if you still have visions of Smelley running all alone in Auburn, wait for OJ Howard.
- the big uglies have set an extremely high standard. could Steen or Alphonse Taylor eventually bump Barrett to Center ?
- defense? talk about setting the bar high,good lord.
special teams ? i would add Tink to the list.

I'm sorry...I guess "heck, each even has a crippling play that helped lose the Iron Bowl." wasn't very clear in that regard!
+1 to you anyway for stepping up and making a choice. Few seem able to...including the BOL staff.
