Alvin Kamara

  • Saw where he narrowed his list to 5 that include Bama,Tennessee, Georgia, FSU, and Oklahoma St!!! Probly a bama georgia battle with georgia leading, but how good you guys think our chances are at this point? Seems we have cooled on him a little bit!

My mom and Paul "Bear" Bryant's mom had something in common....They didn't raise anything but a winner!

  • Remember the staff saying Kamara was a huge UGA lean. I fully expect him to sign with the dawgs which is ok.

  • I know but I LOVED the idea of a Percy Harvin type at slot and wildcat!!

ummmm no...Kamara would be a slot WR, but no chance he ever takes a snap in wildcat (if that was the case Blake Sims would have already been back there)

Maze has been in the wildcat. Just because we haven't put Blake Sims in it doesn't mean we would not use Kamara there.

  • There is no way they dont try him in some wild cat! The purpose is to get your play makers in space! Kamara has to be the closest thing to Harvin as there has been in the past few years! If anyone fits the mold of a wildcat formation player it is Kamara!

  • I think he really likes Bama, but the depth could be a concern

which will always be a good problem to have as long as Saban is here. Like alot of people have already said it will take a special type player to buy in and accept the Bama challenge. No bull just straight talk and hard work.

Yes i understand, but it was RARE..it happened like 3 times is my point. Kamara could def do that, but just not as often as Maze did...plus Maze had an average arm. All I am saying is we are not recruiting him as a Percy Harvin, we dont use players like Urban does. Kamara = Maze in Alabamas offense. 99% of the time he is in slot

  • I've heard from 2 separate sources [that are very dependable] that Kamara really likes Bama but will end up at UGA IF Tenpenny & Henry come to Bama. If one ends up elsewhere then Kamara likely comes to Bama. I know he and Tyren Jones are good friends and I think they would form a dynamic duo in the same backfield.

Knowing about the level of competition that Kamara plays against (see below list of guys from ATL Metro with 4-5 players included from Columbus & LaGrange) and having seen him play a dominant role for the East Team in the Rising Seniors All-Star Game against a defense that had Montravius Adams, Reuben Foster, Tray Matthews & Shaq Wiggins among others......I hope this kid ends up at Bama.

Putting up big numbers in metro ATL means more than doing it anywhere else in the nation as the competition is fierce here.

Kevin Durant is moving up in my favorite All-Time Athletes list. Mama raised him right.

Don't know about now, Charles or Tim can add, but a couple weeks ago he was a huge, huge, huge, huge, huge lean to Georgia. Don't know if that's changed.
