Am I halucinating or are we offering more OLs earlier this year?

Seems like the volume of OL offers is way up for this early in the year. It also seems like we are offering in a wider geographic circle. I see offers in NY, Mizzou, midwest, etc. in addition to our traditional markets. Seems like Cristobal is very used to casting a wide net and travelling to chase them down. Personally, I like what i see. I think we have another high energy recruiter that understands that the easiest way to be the best position coach you can be is to start with the very best players you can get.

I'm with you, he seems to be highly motivated. I also like the the big uglies, I am one of those that believe your team starts up front on both sides of the ball. Just look at last year and what a difference our line made. RTR

Remember that Alabama only signed B. Hill, Brown and G. Hill in this past class so they are really targeting the OL right now, especially the tackle position where there is a definite need at depth. Also a very talented group of tackles this year.

agree. i hope we take 5 or 6 OL this year. definitely need an elite type tackle to go with a few solid or developmental guys...id say we take at least one juco

Unlikely at this point. The grey shirt was to give him time to fully recover from the knee surgery.
