  • An Aggie Friend of mine just told me R Foster has gotten in touch with Sumlin. I laughed and said you dont want that guy, he is a cancer in my opinion. I know he is only 18 but if we start getting guys like this in, our locker room will be out of control like the Barns is. Just thought I would mention it. Roll Tide Roll

  • A mass exodus is almost certain but we will see. They probably have a better chance to hold onto recruits if they could make a change now but I doubt they can. If Chizik stays on the sidelines until it's very late it will be tough. Be interesting to see what happens to Trooper Taylor. He if anything is holding that class together and without him they have no chance to hold on to those guys.

    I do, however, disagree whole heartedly with this statement.

    You're not taking into account the difference that having strong leadership on your roster, along with a person in charge who's willing to make the difficult decisions, when it comes to playing time (or lack thereof) & willingness to totally remove those kinds of players from our roster, if they're not willing to grow up in a big time hurry, & aren't willing to learn from their mistakes.

    Sorry, but I just can't imagine our locker room ever being as out of control as the one at AU's is right now. At Alabama, you either conform or you make a fool out of yourself wearing a uniform other than ours, b/c we'll send you packing.

    Consensus seems to be Jay Jacobs will be out, or at a minimum demoted, in 30-45 days, and Chizik is already done, but will not be "officially" let go until sometime after Dec. 1st for buyout purposes. It is not anticipated that any of the current coaches will remain with the program, as it sounds like a possible complete overhaul of the Athletic Department.

    We all know 1/2 the fan base's favorite: Bobby Petrino

    Unrealistic Coach's Names Being Thrown Around: Jeff Fischer, John Gruden, Chris Peterson, Pete Carrol, Jimbo Fisher & Chip Kelly.

    Realistic Names: Gary Patterson, James Franklin, Al Golden, Gus Malzahn, Paul Rhoads, Charlie Strong, Larry Fedora, Mark Hudspeth.

    Also hearing there may be a requirement that Dameyune Craig be a member of the staff.

    So who is pushing this cart?
    Why would he leave a conference that is pathetic and they dominate most of the years they field a team? And why would Dameyune Craig be leaving FSU to do the same thing at Auburn?

    We all think if FSU when we think ACC, but the facts are that they haven't won the ACC conference title since 2005. But from the early rumors, it will be same old story from Auburn. Die will hire an Auburn guy to be the AD and he wants Craig on the staff. He has to maintain control on the program and we all know how that ends. They will get better because they can't get any worse, but they aren't getting where they want to go until they can overthrow Die.
