Has anyone heard any numbers, as far as what Illinois would give their hc? I'm sure it would be competitive with what we're paying him now.

I may be wrong, but I would think it would have to be a signifcant step up for him to leave. I am not sure that is what the Illinois job is.

Illinois is a significant step up, or potentially a significant step up, because the program has a big upside.
That said, we pay him plenty and he hasn't made his bones in the Big 6 yet, so I don't see how he could even consider going anywhere.

Grant isn't going to go to Illinois. I'll be worried when the elite schools come calling.
I'm sure this thread makes some of our "fans" happy though.

Grant would only go to Illinois if he weren't happy here. I think we all wonder if he is happy. I think he's so invested in what he's trying to do here, I don't think he'd just give up on it. It would make me very sad.

Don't believe he'll leave either, but if he did, based on the last couple of days comments, there will be a big party in T-Town. All the bitchers and moaners will get their wish and next year can find fault with someone else It is amazing that so many on here will not submit thir resumes to CMM and request an interview as their posts indicate that they have forgotten more about than CAG ever knew.

If for some reason he does leave...it is a short drive to UAH and talk to Lennie Acuff! Best coach around and is a class act all the way! Back to back DivII elite 8 appearances.
