Now this is the story all about how Ro's life got flipped turned upside down and I'd like to take a minute just sit right there I'll tell you how he became the prince of a town called Decatur

In North Alabama, born and raised on the football field is where he spent most of his days chillin' out, maxin', relaxin', all cool and he was starting at linebacker for the local school when a couple of guys who were up to no good started makin' trouble in his neighborhood

He got in one little fight and his mom got scared and said, "You're signing' with Saban at the college of the Bear" He whistled for a charger and when it came near the license plate said Tide and it had houndstooth on the mirror if anything he could say that this charger was rare but he thought, "NAW DRE'S GOT ONE, YO HOLMES TO BEAR'S LAIR!"

He pulled up to Bryant Denny about 7 or 8 and he yelled to the driver, "DON'T BE A PLAYA HATA!" He looked at the stadium he was finally there All is forgiven for the prince of Decatur.

  • The allegations are bad and I will be extremely disappointed if true, but I think Rolando (or anyone in that situation) deserves the benefit of doubt. I haven't read all the info and may have missed something (corroborating witnesses, witnesses besides alleged victim, etc.), but I wouldn't convict him based on one side of the story. That's just me though...

  • Of course there's a chance he was falsely accused. Rolando's story denies most or all of the allegations of the accuser.

From what I've read about Rolando's side of the story, just reading between the lines, Ro may have made some sort of poor decision, but he flat out denies some of the worst allegations made against him by the accuser.

The point here is not that I know whose side of the story is true, but that as more information comes out there is more uncertainty about what the facts are. I'm not declaring Ro innocent, but I can't believe our own fans are presuming him guilty based soley on accusations, without so much as letting Ro give his side of the story and letting investigators try to sort out the truth of what happened.

I'm very disappointed in the reactions of so many posters on this board who absolutely trashed him a few days ago, when the only information we had were the allegations made by the accuser. Anyone who tried to stand up for Ro was likened to someone standing up for Sandusky (a very poor analogy, since Sandusky has been indicted by a grand jury after a careful review of all kinds of evidence) or some crap.
