Oh I know he wasn't the top back per the rankings but neither was Richardson(Brice Brown) or Yeldon but I think Ingram and Richardson proved who was the top guy and so will Yeldon. Also, I like Tenpenny but in my opinion T Jones is the better of the two right now and will make a bigger impact, that along with Jones production against better competition is why I wonder if he may make a run at the top spot, he is already the top All Purpose Back according to alot of folks!

I was watching T. Jones' film again today. The kid is just plain nasty. Out of the four that we either have committed or are after (Tenpenny, Jones, Henry and Kamara), I too believe Jones is the best. There's nothing the kid can't do. We DO NOT want to lose him.....period! He looks strong, not TR3 strong, but strong. He is so elusive and doesn't shy away from lowering the boom on some one either. He hits the hole as hard as I have ever seen out of a high school running back. He has excellent hands, skilled return man. The kid is the total package.

Jabrill Peppers...More I watch, the more I'm convinced he is the best player in the 2014 class. Barring injury, he will do special things.

Tenpenny is like TRich and Jones is like Ingram IMO watching film on both. Tenpenny has the chance to be a TRich clone at the capstone.

I agree with this post. Based on highlight film only (which can be deceiving), Jones looks like the best running back in the country. His combination of power, speed, and elusiveness is impressive!

I don't think you can go wrong with either one but if Tenpenney comes back fully from his injury then I think he has a better chance at a 5th star.
Tenpenney has great speed, good size and change of direction ability and looks like he can more easily put on that 10-15 lbs of muscle we like to see on our RBs before they get significant PT.
Jones seems a little more elusive and a tiny bit faster but I like Tenpenney's strength and size a little bit more.
By the way is that right? Neither has been invited to an all star game yet?

By body type, and jOnes has great vision and a great burst of speed at the line , and can catch the ball out the back field just like Ingram. Tenpenny a freak he's fast, strong and is really good at pass blocking and catching out of the back field just like TRich. Both are great and will be great at Bama. But I prefer tenpenny just like you prefer jones, but there talents is top in the country no doubt.

Any chance T. Jones ends up 5 star #1 RB in the Nation?
