Kind of agree on Uggla, but he has stretches where you believe the $13 mil is worth it. He is a one of the best power hitting second basemen ever to play the game (no, I'm not exaggerating). I'm bigger on OBS than long balls, but like a poster said, he affects the way pitchers pitch hitters before and after him. He is a game plan changer just because pitchers know that if they give him too good of a pitch, he could win the game with one swing. Again, I see where you are coming from because I hate inconsistency too, but Uggla was our entire offense for a long time last year.
