Ok. I know this is funny and all, but how does a terrible basketball team shave points? Is the plan designed so that you miss 5/6 shots instead of just 4/6? I mean auburn was doing a great job getting bitchslapped by everyone without having a mediocre player promise to play worse.

Actually, if you think about it, it's probably easier for someone on a crappy team to shave points.

Exactly. Pretty easy for a crappy player on a crappy team to just throw the ball away a couple more times, throw up a couple of bad shots, and miss a couple of extra free throws. Sometimes that's all it takes.
