BBALL game vs the boogers tomorrow night

  • Auburn's home wins - McNeese St, Kennesaw St, Nicholls St, Arkansas Pine Bluff, South Florida, North Florida, Florida AM, Georgia Southern, Bethune Cookman, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Georgia.

So let's not get carried away here. They have been playing better, but they couldn't get much worse. Don't know how many of you watched their game against MSU on Saturday, but neither team tried to stop each other. It was like watching LMU back in the day.

  • I don't think anybody is getting carried away. But I think many have legit concern's about our team winning away from Coleman. AU is no gimmie.

I'll say this. Auburn isn't going to beat us. If we lose it is because we don't play well. Both teams could bring their A games and we would win by 15 points.

  • I hope u r right. But when is the last time we truly brought our "A" game?

If we can shoot at all, we can win tomorrow night.

That said, they have guys like Sullivan, Ward, Payne, etc. that are somewhat capable players who can fill it up if left alone, so if we're as ice cold outside as we have been in recent games, it's a very losable game for us.

The place will be rocking (as much as 7,000 people in one building can rock, I suppose.) We have to be mentally tough and be aggressive on offense. As bad as Auburn is, if we're tentative and play like we played at SC or in bits of the Ole Miss game, we could get run if we're not careful. We also have to attack them inside. We need Green and Mitchell to play angry like they did late against OM. Chubb is pitiful. We should eat him alive.

I don't agree that it's a must win simply because our RPI is still strong and we have so many games left. It's definitely a "really really really need to win to avoid being behind the 8-ball again" type of game for sure, though. Were it at home, I'd absolutely agree it's a must-win.

    You can forget about Mitchell.

Right. Posted this before the news came out.

Point still stands - whoever we trot out there needs to take it to them. In a road environment without one of our star players, hopefully the others take it on themselves to get pissed off and kick their a**.

  • They lose to *U and they might as well forget about "Dancing".

  • Hate to say it,but I just don't see Bama winning any of their remaining road games. Horrible shooting plus turnovers and no ball movement will get you on the road. They struggle enough at home but on the road you just can't overcome some of the deficiencies.

is an absolute must-win in my opinion. We desperately need to beat them to keep our tourney hopes alive. What do yall think?

This is gonna be a tough, tough game...If ANYONE can make it to Boogville, please do so. That new arena can get loud, and it IS quite nice, so it's worth a trip if you've not been there. Show up and support the team and help 'em to a W in a tough environment on the road...hope to see y'all there.
