In the car this morning & Baltimore Sports Radio was giving much love to Bama. Spoke about how it is a football school & still sold out an NIT game where MD is a hoops school & can not do that. Bama should be proud of that!!! Said Grant should not be in trouble for the success he has brought to the school in his number of wins & academic success at a football school.
Spoke very highly of Coach Saban & said, "If Stallings was the Real Deal, then CNS is The 'REAL' Real Deal!!!" Said that even though it's Bama, not all could come close to the success that CNS has brought (Spoke of the Shula & Curry years). All around MUCH LOVE & I was shocked for it to come from B'more radio where they are typically clueless about college sports.
Love us or HATE us, you cant deny the success of the UoA right now. Multiple NC's in multiple sports with no sign of slowing down. Huge enrollment growth, with a couple of highly ranked academic programs to boot. You have to give respect when it is earned and UA has earned it.

It does make an alum proud!
It also helps position us business wise;academics more than FB, but both contribute.
Of course,FB contributes a lot of $ to the insitution and academics as a result.
