When it comes to Alabama facing Oklahoma State to complete the equivalent of a home-and-home neutral-site series, it’s definitely a case of what’s old is also what’s new:

Ha ha...great story Chris. I love Coach Sanderson's story about James Robinson. He definitely used to lauch'em.
I am almost positive we played Southern Miss the night before the Iron Bowl. The game would have been Nov. 29, 1990. I remember that game specifically because Clarence Weatherspoon for USM had 1 of the most vicious dunks I ever saw. He pulled the rim down parallel with the backboard it seemed. Anyway, I found an old USM schedule that says they beat Bama 84-82 on that date but it doesn't say where the game was played.
According to the Alabama media guide the Tide did play Southern Miss on Nov. 30, 1990, but it doesn't list where the game was played. It does confirm the score, though.
We should play 2-3 games a season there. It's the only place we can shoot.
I was very pleased with the crowd last night. There were a ton of families there and I assume that was aided by the kids being out of school. But overall I think the bama fans showeed very good support for our boys in the Ham last night. Bring'em back anytime!!!!
