You would think that somewhere someone close to Coach would leave behind some details of his personal life with instructions to open them in 2050 or something so things like this wouldn't die. I wouldn't want the details to be exploited but just for history's sake, it would be interesting for future generations.

The comments under the article are ridiculous. It's funny when opposing fans say that Bama fans won't ever be over Coach Bryant. From the looks of the comments of that article and any other time they talk about CB they cant get over him either. Coach Saban will be remembered like that when he retires from coaching as well. Dominance creates hate/jealousy. I love it. Roll Tide!

Great read......I am 52 yrs old and I cant read stories like these about Coach without weaping. No one outside of our generation of Bama fans will ever know the true impact this man had on our life. I hate that my children will never know what this man meant to all of us and the impact he had outside of football. I still fondly remeber Fall Saturdays listening to Leonard's Losers before the Bama Games and then listening to the games on the radio and vividly playing those broadcast in my mind as the players played the game.
Thanks for the memories Coach Bryant........Rest In Peace.
