Belue has blown me away this year

  • It's worth noting 247Sports had Belue with a grade of 95 and the no. 8 JUCO prospect and no. 1 CB last cycle (247Composite 3-star) and ranked ahead of Travell Dixon.

This is the way I see it:

Belue is a 5* player who was graded by Rivals as a 3*. You assert he would graded higher if he hadn't had grade issues.

Robert Foster is a 5* player, according to 24/7, and he has grade challenges. He appears, according to most, to be worthy of his 5* rating. Nobody seems tempted to downgrade him because of his class work.

The contrast of these two cases is stark. The inconsistency in grading suggests different standards have been applied, in my view.

It may not be so much different standards as it is different opinions in evaluating.
Robert Foster is a 4* on rivals ranked as the #70 overall prospect. (5* #24 on 24/7)
ESPN has him a 4* at #23. Scout has him as 5* ranked #31. Common point here is Rivals does not evaluate as good as 24/7

  • I played with him in high school. He didn't have the grades coming out, but was definitely underrated as a prospect. Probably the best player Deshler ever had. He can do some amazing stuff with the ball in his hands. Unreal athlete
