I'm going to be in Vegas on Oct. 20 (yes, the UT game date) and was wondering which would be the best sports book to watch the Bama/UT game? I'm staying at Bellagio but haven't been to their book.. I've stayed at Mandalay Bay which has a nice one and also at Caesar's which is ok but I didn't really enjoy it that much.
Suggestions? Thanks in advance and Roll Tide!!
Legasse stadium. It's at the Venetian. They have big comfy couches in a stadium type setup with TVs everywhere. Check it out.
Yeah without a doubt, the best is Legasse's Stadium, which is Emerill Legasses restaurant/sportsbook. It's actually at the Pelazzo right next to the Venetian. I would make sure the Bama game is the feature game though. They have 1 enormous TV that shows the feature game and a bunch of smaller TVs that how the others. We went for the Iron Bowl last year and they told me right before the game that the Penn St Wisconsin game was the feature before they changed it to the Iron Bowl at the last minute. They base it on what game has the most action. Thank God people from Alabama are a bunch of degenerate gamblers.
Oh and you need to call ahead and make a reservation.
Most of them are nice. Hilton's was recently renovated. If you're at the Bellagio, the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino is right across the street. They're sports book is cool.
Legasses is def legit. To me, it's less of a sports book and really just a great bar. Stadium seating w/ food and tv.
Thanks and +1's to you all..
I have always enjoyed the Mandalay Bay.
Legasses for sure they now have a handheld device that you can put your bets in without ever getting out of your seat...and somebody waits on you...make reservations though for sure
I was in Vegas at The Mirage for the Southern Miss vs Bama game when Prothro made The Catch. They have a HUMONGOUS area with about 50 tvs that you can watch whatever sport you can imagine on all at the same time. Most cool ... they may all be like this I don't know but the Mirage is.
I had a great time watching the Alabama-Florida game at Lagasse's last year.
