Best part about the NFL Draft

  • is getting to watch Saban back stage congratulating these guys on all their hard work and the payoff for them and their families. You gotta love the exposure for not only our players, but also showing the love they have for what coach Saban has done for them. You can't tell me that he's not a players coach.

  • Absolutely...and seeing him on the phone and speculating he's talking to somebody like DaShawn Hand during the draft after a second, third, or fourth Bama player has come off the board in the first round is exciting as well.

    Good point! Pretty cool to have Saban call a recruit and tell him that I'm here in New York and you could be here with me in 3 years if you come on board and do your job.
