Teo should have never been in the discussion regardless of the truth. Looking at Te'o's stats compared to other less heralded defensive players in the league calls the entire credibility of the Heisman process into question. He couldn't hold Minter, Mosly, or Jarvis Jones' jock strap, and yet there he was sitting in New York garnering more votes than the great Ndamukong Suh ever did as a defensive player. It boggles the mind.

What about the kid who had everyone thinking he had big time scholarship offers. Had a press conference and commited to Cal with no offers. Tedford was like no way. Felt sorry for the kid. His lying left a huge scar.
