Bo Ryan making himself sound bad on Mike and Mike

  • Bo Ryan is on Mike and Mike lying about transfers and how he didn't block the player. Says he is doing what everyone else is doing.

    His school wants everyone's QB to transfer to his school but won't let his players transfer out.

    He said he doesn't know about transferring like other coaches. What??? Just ask your school's QB.

    Then he says the process is you block every school in your conference and school you might play and then let the player appeal it.

    now he is saying transferring should be like a non-compete in an employment contract. OK, then why does his school allow transfers in?

    Let's say he let's him transfer. What does their BBall team receive In return? They're out the money they spent recruiting the kid. Then they're out one player in a sport where you only recruit and sign about 4-6 players a year.

  • i watched the interview this morning and what Ryan was saying made sense to me. Mike and Mike just kept asking the same questions. Ryan simply got advise from other coaches and ask how to deal with the situation bc he had not dealt with transfers but like one time in his career. The other coaches told him to basically block it and let the admin. take care of it. I dont see the big deal bc the kid will get to transfer after he appeals it. Seems to me like a process. Also seems kinda stupid but it happens ALL THE TIME at other schools.
