Pretty classless for Hebert the parent to use his press pass to berate Miles. Maybe if his son could have contained Bama's pass rush, Jefferson would have had a little more time to look downfield.

He should not have called out Miles, but I was sitting there thinking that Jefferson has struggled in his last two game and Lee won 9 game for them. If I was Lee I would have been pissed because nothing Jefferson was doing was working, he looked confused, and looked scared.
I know Lee has struggled in the past against us, but if the situation was in reverse I would have to feel Lee would have been yanked and Jefferson would have come into the game. It is just weird Miles wont pull Jefferson but never hesitated to pull Lee. Why that is, I have no idea.

Yeah, I agree with the QB change but Hebert calling Miles out like that is crazy. I would have lost it on the guy.

Jarret Lee struggles throwing the ball against Alabama.
Put in Jarret Lee down 15. You can't run. You have to throw.
If they would have put Jarret Lee in it would have been worse. It would have actually been a "No Mas" moment.
T-Bobby Hebert is quite frankly a T-Tool.
Just wonder what CNS would say to a dude with that kind of attitude.

When they started the "option" talk I had a feeling they would be running for a lot of sideways yards. I never imagined we would hold them to the 50 yard line all night. They had a lot more problems than just QB. Oversimplification is the surest sign of ignorance. He is like a rabid fan that can see nothing but the QB.

Yes. With the pressure we were getting from the base package...would have easily been the worst night of Lee's career. It would have been comical to watch.

Miles is a darn good coach.. And has shown a lot of class...the more you see him. The more you appreciate. There is only one Nick Saban. Give Coach Nick Saban six weeks to prepare with the number one defense. And like Mark May said... Even Drew Brees coudnt have done better. Next year LSU will be just as tough or tougher when we play there. Will be glad when 1 plus one is implemented in two years.

Will Blackwell was scared. He didn't want to play us again, none of them did and it showed. Watch the ESPN blog with the interviews and you can tell that all the LSWho players weren't up for a battle. RTR.

I wonder how LSU is going to handle losing games going forward, when there's no what-could-have-been involving Jarrett Lee? This game, and back in '09 when if that Peterson interception had counted "obviously" the lord of the pick would have engineered a game winning drive.
