Everybody knows this one, because the name has not been removed for too long.
The Peach Bowl in Atlanta, GA.
I still call the Chik-fil-A Bowl the Peach Bowl. Wish they'd go back to it.

The Grantland Rice Bowl played in Murfreesboro, TN before moving to Baton Rouge, LA. This thing ended up morphing from a bowl game, into the D-II semifinal playoff game in 1973.

I suppose mine were way too easy. Just some nostalgia from somebody who wishes sponsors didn't replace all of the bowl games I grew up with with their brand names.

the Bacardi Bowl in Havana, Cuba. Auburn played in this one in 1937. They tied Villanova which really makes me laugh. While we were kicking Stanford, Washington State, USC, and Washington's ass in the Rose Bowl, Auburn was tying Villanova in the Bacardi Bowl.
the Bluebonnet and Cotton Bowls may be my all-time favorites. I guess I just love the bowls in Texas. I also remember beating the hell out of SMU in '83 in the Sun Bowl (El Paso). Beating USC's ass in the Aloha Bowl (Honolulu) in '85 was also fun.

I find it additionally interesting that several SEC teams played in the Bacardi Bowl. LSU, MSU, Florida and Tulane (who used to be in the SEC).

Oh yeah. How do I remember Lindsey Nelson and those sports jackets he used to wear. For the uninitiated, he did tacky plaid sports coats about as well as anyone. Thank goodness we did not have HD then. It would have been painful with one of Lindsey Nelson's sports coats. He was an awesome broadcaster though.

Music city bowl Nashville, TN... I still have nitemares about playing Minnesota with Pennington leading us.. I guess that Minnesota team had two pretty good tail backs :)
