Braves Fans.... Home alt uni

  • In case some of you missed it. Atlanta will have a new alt. Home uniform this year that they will wear on Saturdays and Sundays (at least that is the plan)? I love it. Its the throwback to the '66 season. Simple, Sleek, and is cream in color which most all home uni's were back then simply because a pure white was not done in those days. The Sunday Red that has been worn for a few years now will go to Friday home games (if they stick with what was originally proposed)?

    Yeah so far what they have said is Friday home games will be when we wear the Red jersey's instead of Sundays. ??? Guess well see tonight since today is the first home game of the year and its Friday?

    I love the 66 uni. The Hank Aaron jersey from this timeframe is one of my alltime fav's along with....this uni from years ago...

    I like them myself. With the navy shirt, the all navy hat is the only hat that even looks ok with that uni selection. I do now wish we would wear our home hat, red bill when we wear the all grey road uni. There is so much red in that uniform, numbers ect. that to me the home red bill, navy hat would look great as we used to do? But, I'm ok with the all navy as well I guess. Love it with the navy jersey.

    Yeah I like that as well. That is the uniform of my young days as well when DAD took me to Fulton County Stadium games. I had that Dale Murphy t-shirt from T-shirt uniform day for years. No clue now where it is but I kept it for years after and would wear it to baseball practice (little league) all the time. I hated the all light blue road uni during those years but now, there something about them that brings back memories lol
