Bring on the 4 team playoff

We may win every natty until Saban leaves. The nation will soon find that it would have been much easier to hold us down with the current system.

I'll be totally honest, I think people will be surprised how much the playoff will favor the non-#1 teams.

BING-O! Alabama will be in the mix every year, IMO. Coach Saban will be living large with a 4-team playoff format in place.
The also-rans think this will allow them into the Throneroom to grasp the Crystal Football, but it will be snatched away. No
way an SEC team does not get in EVERY year and we all know what happens at the end of the season playing SEC teams.
Do not be shocked to see 2 SEC teams in the playoffs more years than not......RTR!

Agreed. The playoff will also require the eventual champion to beat excellent opponents in consecutive weeks...or consecutive games, depending on the schedule. That is business as usual for SEC teams, not so much for the rest of he pack. Here's hoping we move to an 8 team format fairly quickly as it would give the SEC an even bigger advantage IMHO.

Right on! Just think about the 2011 BCS game. If it was a four team playoff, Bama and LSU would have been in both games and again in the final. Jealousy makes people do strange things. Four team playoff is tailor made for the SEC to continue its domination.RTR

Without all the pressure to go undefeated every year, we may just go undefeated every year!
Ok not really, but I seriously do think it will make it easier to go undefeated when every game isn't do or die when it comes to a NC. Counterintuitive but there it is. I realize you don't HAVE to go undefeated to win it all under the BCS, but any loss makes it unlikely.

It will be even funnier when 3 sec teams show up in the final 4,,,,at least I guess that can happen. I know 2 for sure.

i agree,cause i tell you if tex am stays strong ,its bout impossible 2 go undefeated,there is so much pressure on the bama kids not 2 lose 1 game,we finish in the top 4 with jus a loss people in deep trouble roll tide.
