  • Don't know if you've been asked before but where did you go to college? Just realized, I don't guess I know anything about you, lol. Growing up did you know you wanted to write for a living? Did you have any favorite teams? Play any sports? Enjoy writing about anything more in particular? Sorry for the quiz. If you have time, thanks.

  • Wasn't he a New England area guy, Rhode Island maybe? I remember him answering these types of questions when he joined up with BOL. A tremendous asset to this site is Mr. Walsh.

  • Dang...wasn't expecting a down vote for trying to answer a question. The Minnesota thing sounds familiar as well. I liked when he talked about his perspective on college football - basically not having a team that was near and dear to him. The objectivity is noticeable in his writing style, which I like. Not that I dislike the Cecil Hurts of the world, but it's cool to have both I guess.

  • We pay to read his work. Some people enjoy to write, I guess I was wondering how he's gotten to this point? I see nothing creepy about it. I enjoy writing myself, not the J. Lee type of writing, but writing none the less. If this makes anyone uncomfortable I guess that's your problem. I forget the age of the board sometimes. Really takes away from the quality here.

  • Sorry - no shirtless pics, because I don't want the site to crash

I'll post a bio later, but I grew up in Minnesota and graduated from the University of New Hampshire. It was then I decided to get into sports journalism (we had no J-school), moved to Florida and started working my way up.

I never covered a college program before Alabama. My last three football beats were the Packers, Cardinals and Bucs. This is my ninth season and since moving here I've published 18 books including "100 Things Crimson Tide Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die."

Oh, and I have an awesome wife. No pics of her either.

Just busting your balls Josh, nothing personal. All the consecutive questions caught me off gaurd. Thought the "man crush" comment was funny. That's all. Hope you get all your questions answered. Peace brother and Roll Tide!
