Not wise to bite the hand that feeds you, and nobody respects Gary as a true journalist. He's an SEC shill, so he needs to act like one. Running down a league member and saying they shouldn't play for the national title isn't very good business.

Got to admit that week off is going to play a key role in the championship game. I mean we will have 2 weeks to get ready and LSU only 1.....oh wait they don't play December 10th they would play January 9th. So you are saying they would have over a month to get ready with Alabama having 1 week extra off.

CBS is trying to solicit fans outside their core area. Make sense to me from a strategy perspective. CBS has the SEC locked up. ABC/ESPN probably dominate everywhere else. Especially when you consider the Mid-west and West Coast. CBS probably sucks out there and since Stanford/OkSt are the key players in the debate it's good strategy to sympathize with their cause.

I know for sure if I was SEC Commish, I would call and let them know that while we understand it is not our intention to tell CBS commentators what to say or to change their opinions publicly that the opinions expressed have been noted for future negotiations of SEC Conf. contracts. I would also say something noting that ABC/ESPN have been very supportive in their understanding that you want to have the two best teams in college football play each other regardless of their conference affiliation.

I believe Gary and Tim make themselves look very unimformed and not a credible source when arguing that OK State belongs in the title game. It is very clear that Alabama and LSU are the two best teams in the country. We have ran every team out of the stadium except for LSU. LSU has done the same. All the other teams have lost and lost to inferior teams. Their arguments just don't make sense and it is clear they don't want Bama in the game. I don't know why they dislike us soo much. Regardless, they are basically wasting their breath with all this talk and arguing. Come next Sunday evening, we will be locked in to the national title game whether those idjitts like it or not. The two best teams are going to rematch and it's going to be a heck of a game. Roll Tide!
